Launching a New Idea? Aiming for the Stars?
Rocketeering will bring a team together by showing the importance of:
Teamwork and Achieving Goals
Each team member play a vital role in the success of the Rockets development, as each member will only be taught about one part of the rocket.
Communication
Teams learn that listening and communicating clearly with each other, with others and by sharing ideas and information difficulties can be overcome far quicker and great new ideas and relationships can be born.
Change and Acceptance
Change and acceptance is the norm and accepting change, accepting help, and accepting failure are often very hard but are also very helpful to ensure a successful future. Some rockets might not launch so some will need to accept the failure to launch.
The group will be divided in teams consisting of 4 people each. The first session will be dedicated to building the basic rocket; for this rocket you will receive: Coke Bottle, Box, Markers, Launch Pad and Compressor. The second session will be dedicated to building the advanced rocket which will include the following equipment:
- Tool Kit
- Launch Pad
- Engine
- Rocket Body
- Stapler & Glue
